What this website is

This website is for information only. It describes BGI and how it works. It is not a catalogue, and it does not offer any product, price, quantity or term.

The six commodity families shown (metals and minerals; vehicles and vehicle parts of every type, new and used, for civil use only; kraft paper; timber and plywood; used cooking oil; recycled plastics) are categories in which BGI considers enquiries as a broker only. They are not a stock list. BGI does not serve North America, sanctioned countries or sanctioned persons, and does not consider military goods or goods for military end use.

Specifications, standards and parameters shown on this website are typical parameters used in the trade, given for information. They are not a product specification, an offer or a guarantee. The specification of any goods is set only in the written contract between buyer and seller.

The downloadable OTR tyre catalogue is indicative and for information only. It is not a price list, a stock list or an offer.

BGI does not work with sanctioned countries or sanctioned persons, and does not consider enquiries involving weapons, munitions or military goods, nuclear source material, or any trade that would breach the sanctions that apply to it.

Nothing here is an offer, a commitment or advice

Nothing on this website is an offer, a quotation, a commitment, a guarantee or a warranty of any kind. Nothing on it is legal, tax, financial, investment or other professional advice, and it should not be relied on as such.

Nothing binds BGI unless it is confirmed in a written agreement signed by BGI's Managing Director. No statement on this website, no verbal statement, and no email or message from anyone at BGI creates an obligation on BGI unless it is confirmed in that way.

No verbal agreement counts as an agreement. Nothing is relied on until it is in writing.

Nothing on this website, and no communication sent through it, appoints BGI as anyone's agent, representative or distributor, or creates any partnership, exclusivity, territorial right or entitlement to commission. Any such arrangement exists only if it is set out in a written agreement signed as described above.

Services are provided only under a separate written agreement.

Sending a requirement

Sending a requirement through the contact form, by email, or through WhatsApp, Telegram, LinkedIn or Instagram creates no obligation on either side. It does not make you a client of BGI. It does not oblige BGI to reply, to take the enquiry further, to introduce anyone or to keep the enquiry open, and it does not oblige you to do anything.

BGI may decline any enquiry, at any stage, without giving reasons. Any enquiry BGI takes further is subject first to screening and KYC.

By sending a requirement you confirm that, to the best of your knowledge, what you send is accurate, that you are entitled to send it, and that sending it is lawful.

Please do not send confidential documents, or information you are not prepared to share before an NCNDA is in place. What this website says about confidentiality describes how BGI works; binding confidentiality obligations between BGI and any party arise only under an executed NCNDA or another written agreement.

How personal data is handled is set out in the Privacy notice.

Third parties, goods and documents

BGI takes no title and holds no inventory. It is not a party to any sale contract between a buyer and a seller. It does not hold or handle payments between them, and it does not act as a bank, escrow agent or payment service.

Documents are issued by the parties and authorities responsible for them. BGI transmits and coordinates documentation. It does not originate it and does not warrant its accuracy. Inspection is carried out by independent third parties; BGI does not inspect.

BGI gives no warranty or guarantee about any goods or documents, or about the statements or performance of any buyer, seller, inspector, carrier, bank or other third party, including as to quality, quantity, specification, origin, title, compliance, delivery or payment.

Screening and KYC are BGI's own compliance controls, carried out for its own purposes. They are not a certification of any person or company, and they do not replace a party's own due diligence. Each party remains responsible for its own checks and for the licences, permits and approvals its trade requires, including those that apply to particular goods in the countries concerned.

Accuracy and availability

BGI takes care that the information on this website is accurate when it is published. It may change without notice, and BGI does not warrant that it is complete or current. The website is provided as it is and may be unavailable from time to time.

Intellectual property

The content of this website (its text, design, graphics and layout) and the BGI name, monogram and logo belong to BGI or are used with permission.

These terms govern the use of this website only. Any engagement between BGI and a party is governed by the written agreement for it.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this website or these terms, are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. The courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction.

If these terms are published in another language, the English version prevails.

Changes to these terms

BGI may change these terms by publishing a new version on this page. The version published when you use the website is the one that applies.

These terms are effective from the date of their publication on this website.
