What we source

One product,three things that matter.

  • Quality. Free fatty acids, moisture and impurities, and iodine value decide what the oil can be made into.
  • Traceability. Collection records and chain of custody, with ISCC certification where the buyer requires it.
  • Logistics. Flexitanks, ISO tanks or bulk, with sampling and inspection at loading.

Quality parameters

Defined by the lab report.

Typical parameters used in the trade. Each contract sets its own limits, confirmed by independent sampling and analysis.

For a precise answer

What to includein your request.

The more precise the request, the faster the right match.

  1. End use (biodiesel, HVO or other)
  2. Key limits: FFA, MIU, iodine value, contaminants
  3. Certification required (ISCC EU, ISCC PLUS or none)
  4. Quantity, and whether it is a single lot or regular supply
  5. Packing (flexitank, ISO tank or bulk), loading or destination port, and preferred Incoterm
  6. Payment preference

How we work

Three steps.You stay in control.

  1. Tell us the specification and the end useLimits, certification, quantity and destination. Free, confidential, no obligation.
  2. We find and screen the other sideCollectors, aggregators and buyers are checked against international sanctions lists before any introduction, under an NDA.
  3. Inspection and written termsIndependent sampling and analysis confirm the quality. Price, payment and delivery are signed between buyer and supplier.

Questions

Common questionsabout used cooking oil.

Is ISCC certification available for UCO?

Where the buyer requires it. UCO can be specified with ISCC EU or ISCC PLUS certification, a proof of sustainability and collection records with each lot; if certified material is not needed, the specification says so.

What are the key quality parameters of used cooking oil?

FFA (free fatty acids), MIU (moisture, impurities and unsaponifiables) and iodine value, plus sulphur, phosphorus, chlorine, polyethylene and metals where the oil goes to HVO. Each contract sets its own limits, confirmed by independent sampling and analysis; see UCO quality parameters, explained.

What is used cooking oil used for?

Mainly as feedstock for biodiesel (FAME), HVO and other renewable fuels. The end use decides which limits matter most: FFA, MIU and iodine value for biodiesel, and contaminants such as sulphur, phosphorus, chlorine and metals for HVO.

How is UCO shipped?

In flexitanks, ISO tanks or in bulk, with sampling and inspection at loading. The packing, the loading or destination port and the Incoterm are agreed in each contract.

Who appoints the inspector for a UCO shipment?

The buyer and supplier agree it in the contract. Most international contracts call for an independent inspection report covering sampling, analysis and quantity at loading, so the specification should state who appoints the inspector.
