Recycled plastics

Recycled plastics,specified for your process.

PET flakes, HDPE, LDPE and PP regrind, sorted bales, and recycled pellets and granules. We connect recyclers and collectors with converters and manufacturers, with every parameter agreed in writing.

What we source

Four product groups.

  • PET flakes. Clear and coloured bottle flakes, specified by IV, contamination, moisture and flake size.
  • Polyolefins. HDPE, LDPE and PP as regrind or film, specified by MFI, density and colour.
  • Bales. Sorted post-consumer and post-industrial bales, specified by grade and composition.
  • Recycled pellets and granules. rPET, rHDPE, rLDPE and rPP, specified by MFI, colour and filtration.

PET flakes

Defined by IV and purity.

Typical parameters used in the trade. Each contract sets its own limits, confirmed by independent sampling and analysis where required.

Coloured PET flakes (blue, green, brown, mixed)IV, colour, PVC content, other polymers, moisture, flake sizeFibre, strapping

HDPE, LDPE and PP

Defined by melt flow and density.

Typical parameters used in the trade, agreed for each order according to the end use.

Bales, pellets and granules

Defined by grade and composition.

Typical parameters used in the trade. Photos, composition and inspection at loading are agreed with each lot.

For a precise answer

What to includein your request.

The more precise the request, the faster the right match.

  1. Polymer and form (flakes, regrind, bales or pellets)
  2. Key limits: IV or MFI, contamination, moisture, colour
  3. End use
  4. Quantity, and whether it is a single lot or regular supply
  5. Packing, destination port or delivery point, and preferred Incoterm
  6. Payment preference

How we work

Three steps.You stay in control.

  1. Tell us the polymer and the specificationForm, limits, quantity and destination. Free, confidential, no obligation.
  2. We find and screen the other sideRecyclers, collectors and buyers are checked against international sanctions lists before any introduction, under an NDA.
  3. You agree terms in writingPrice, payment, inspection and delivery are signed between buyer and supplier. We coordinate to delivery.

Questions

Common questionsabout recycled plastics.

What is IV in PET flakes?

IV (intrinsic viscosity) indicates the chain length of the PET, and with it the strength and processability of the flakes. Demanding uses such as bottle to bottle and strapping need a higher IV than fibre, so IV is specified together with PVC, PE and PP content, glue, metals, moisture and flake size.

What does MFI mean for recycled HDPE, LDPE and PP?

MFI (melt flow index) measures how easily the melted polymer flows under set conditions, typically tested to ISO 1133 or ASTM D1238. It tells the converter whether the material suits its process, such as film blowing, extrusion or injection moulding, and is specified with density, colour, contamination and moisture.

What is the difference between hot washed and cold washed PET flakes?

Hot washed flakes are washed at high temperature, usually with a caustic solution, which removes glue, labels and residues more thoroughly. They generally suit more demanding uses such as bottle to bottle and sheet, while cold washed flakes are generally used where purity requirements are lower, such as fibre.

Can you source plastic bales as well as flakes and pellets?

Yes. Sorted post-consumer and post-industrial bales (PET bottles, HDPE, LDPE film, PP and mixed), regrind and flakes, and recycled pellets and granules (rPET, rHDPE, rLDPE, rPP) are all sourced; bales are specified by grade, polymer composition, colour sort, moisture, contamination and bale weight.

What should I include in a request for recycled plastics?

The polymer and form, the key limits (IV or MFI, contamination, moisture, colour), the end use, the quantity and whether it is a single lot or regular supply. Add packing, destination and your preferred Incoterm; see how to specify recycled PET flakes.
